Adopt an IDF Platoon

Many who have traveled to Israel with the Federation have met Tal Beit-Yosef, our guide and friend for over 12 years now.  Tal was also in Chattanooga about 3 ½ years ago speaking to various groups including the Federation’s annual meeting.  Tal’s oldest son, Yuval, is now in the IDF, completing his basic training as a paratrooper.

His platoon of 55 soldiers graduates in mid-October and we are “adopting” this platoon.  Think of this as adopting a lone soldier in Israel.  We are purchasing special jackets/sweatshirts with the platoon name and symbol on them – a very special and personal gift from our community.
