Israel Grants (For High School And College Students)
The purpose of the Israel Grants is to provide supplemental financial aid to be applied toward educational and Jewish identity-strengthening programs in Israel. This grant reflects the Federation’s desire to increase the number of those who will have the opportunity to go to Israel. This is a one-time grant. However, second year and future year grants will also be given if funds are available (first time applicants have priority; then second time, etc).

Israel Grants Qualifications and Guidelines

Grant applications are due on December 15. Grants are in amounts up to $3,500 for year programs and $2,500 for summer programs per applicant (up to one-half of the program cost). Grants will be awarded primarily on merit based upon the applicant’s motivations and achievements as measured by the response to the applicant’s questions and to personal interview(s) with the selection committee. The requesting family should be a donor to the Federation’s annual campaign and their account should be in good standing.

Camp Grants
It is the intent of the Federation to encourage our children to have an intensive Jewish camping experience as part of their growing up. This grant reflects the Federation’s desire to increase the number of young people who will have this opportunity. This is a one-time grant. However, second year and future year grants will also be given if funds are available (first time applicants have priority; then second time, etc).

Camp Grants Qualifications and Guidelines

Grant applications are due on December 15. The Jewish Federation will provide a one-time grant (The amount of the grant will be based upon the number of applicants) for a recognized Jewish overnight camping experience. The requesting family should be a donor to the Federation’s annual campaign and their account should be in good standing.
